Processed beats

A quick post to show the process that goes into making a Josh Cook storyboard panel, that's right prepare for me to lay down some knowledge.
Nah it's simple, Sketch that shizz>Scan it>Ink it>Colour it.
Simple but time consuming :P
An I'm outie.

U.F.O.

Ok so the last 3 arn't coloured yet. I've been going hard at it so I called it a day here. it took me longer than expected to get these 13 panels done but I had to get em done quick as possible while still feeling comfortable that they illustrate the shot and what's going on. So far so good.
Anyway I started boarding for the "Pizza Boy" scene but after drawing the poor bugger getting knocked out by the Hitmans hurled PDA I thought to myself "If this is based in the 50's-60's would he really have a PDA?" Meh we can sort that out I'm sure.
For the group, lemme know if these panels are ok.

Extreme Boarding 2

6. Screwing the silencer onto the barrel of the gun
7. Going back to the case for the scope
8. Scope taken
9. Fiddling with the scope
10. The hitman peers through the boarded up window to get a view of his target.
11. An establishing shot of the motel on the opposite side of the street from the Hitmans perspective.
A little more to come...

Extreme Boarding 1

Ok the boards read from top to bottom in each post so here goes. I started from the suitcase part since I wasn't sure if we wanted to show him entering the vacant or not.
1. The case is plonked down
2. We see the hitmans hands go to unlock said case
3. ...it opens
4. Close up of the inside of the case as the Hitman reaches for parts of his rifle
5. The parts be taken. - credits and what not can go in here where he removes the pieces.

Back in the saddle

Yo guys just a quick post to show the old blog is up and running.

We had a pretty good day of brainstorming ideas, some definate stuff to work with as well as some ideas that need a little fleshing out. I think everyone feels a little more secure now that we've done that, at least I do.

It's gonna be a challenge but I think we can rise to it and produce something that at the very least we can be proud of. Enough of that. My first task is gonna be to get a rough storyboard going so that we can get a basic idea of shot set ups.

Should have some stuff up here by tomorrow evening.

Peace.
